Workplaces need new talent. Communities need good humans. We develop both.

  • Workplaces need new talent

Core to the dae ethos is responsiveness. For our workforce development programs, this means tracking current workforce needs and being ahead of the curve by tracking future workforce trends. We convene a Tech Advisory Council made up of industry leaders across tech, entrepreneurship, and high education to ensure our technical curriculum remains relevant to industry demand. We also ensure our students are equipped with the non-technical skills they need to enter into and succeed in employment like communication, collaboration, time management, project management, and how to deliver and integrate constructive feedback.

Tech and career skills are fundamental to dae’s DNA, but equally important is creating a space where learners can explore who they are and the impact they want to have in the world. By encouraging students to engage with their passions, we allow them to understand that they belong and that they are “enough.” Education turns from a way to fix themselves into a way for them to fully understand themselves.
