Human Development
Human beings can’t be made, but they can grow.

You’re already OK - now get to work
Our campuses aren’t anything like traditional classrooms, instead they’re created to be comfortable spaces that mimic the modern workplace. Students can choose to code together at group workstations or relax in a beanbag—wherever they’re most at home. By creating a space where students feel safe, we can help them better explore and grow.

Students start and end each day with huddles that allow them to check-in with themselves and each other, ground themselves in their environment, and set their intentions. They take dedicated breaks to come together and share communal meals or a cup of tea.

When students complete a developmental program at dae they gain entry into our lifelong learning community: daeAFTER. Alumni gain access to a private Discord server where they can stay engaged with faculty and each other, share skills, and collaborate. This isn’t just a passing trend: when students enter daeAFTER they’re enrolled for 99 years.
