Skills Development
The economic needs of organizations and the human needs of our communities are interdependent.

dae students develop a set of competencies designed to prepare them for the 21st century.
All students develop a standard set of horizontal technical competencies before choosing to specialize in a single technical track. And if there’s not a technical track that fits their needs and vision, educators work with students to develop a personalized pathway from dae’s library of courses.
Personal & Organizational Competencies
dae asks every person in every program to investigate, challenge, grasp, and grow who they are as positive, contributing leaders to the groups across their lives – from friends and family to technology teams and the community at large.

Career skills
Upon completion of a dae program, learners have a suite of stackable micro-credentials in the skills they’ve learned – as well as an overall certificate of completion and the dae portfolio.
The dae portfolio is the public collection of projects that learners have completed that show off their skills to college professors or prospective employers looking for examples of successful code.
Certificates and badges prove that dae learners understand the material they’ve explored on a conceptual level, and the dae portfolio demonstrates that they understand the real-world application of those concepts and skills.

What if the disruption is not an attack but an invitation?
